This past week was a good one! First, Linds and Trav, good luck with everything this coming week. I hope all goes well with you both getting there safely and that you enjoy the adventure. Sounds like its going to be sweet. I love you both and O-TRAIN and Scarlet.
our responsiblities are awesome now. We are now in charge of Two wards, Armenia and Salvador Celi. Its interesting because we werent receiving much support from Salvador Celi, nobody seemed to want to come with us to our appointments. So we thought we would do work in Armenia. There the members are pumped to have Elders and not sisters so everyone wants to accompany us and help us in the work and we received like 4 refereneces, more than we have received the entire time I have been in Salvador celi. But, as Salvador Celi found out that we have been working in Armenia, they got jealous almost and started to invite us over and starting asking us when they could accompany us. Sort of funny. In the words of John Mayor, "dont it always seem to go, that you dont know what you got til its gone." hahaha its been interesting playing with the two wards and seeing who can give more. funny. Sharpe and I are happy as can be, two wards that are helping us now and a LOT of work to do.
We have been working with the Vicente Family. We have a lesson with them tonight. They came to church yesterday and loved it and so we are hopeful that they will keep progressing. We just hope the dad can sell his roosters, which are pretty expensive here. Keep them in your prayers.
Also, we have a surprise this week. Elder Holland is coming on Saturday and will be addressing the mission. I am so excited! we are really trying to be as prepared as possible for his visit and make sure that the zone is too. Also, after the visit on Saturday wth the mission, he will be coming to the Stake of Los Chillos to visit. There will be a stake conference and he will be presiding in the stake where we are working! Two times we get to hear him speak and address us. I couldnt be more pumped really. I remember when I saw him in the bathroom in the mtc, but now he is coming to talk to just us. Should be a great experience and I am really looking forward to it. Ill let you know how it goes. But in order to make up for the hours of proselyting that we will be missing on saturday, we are ending PDAY early today at one in the afternoon. So we wont be doing much today. just gonna go work. but its worth it.
